So we're down to 3 weeks until the new baby comes. Dylan is pretty funny, we've been talking more about his baby sister coming, especially because he is in his new big boy room/bed and the nursery has been re-finished for his new baby sister. The other day he looked at me and said "I want to hold my baby sister" I told him he'd have to wait because she was still in mommy's tummy, but that when she came out he could hold her all he wanted. He just said "oh" and went on. He is getting to be such a character. I have a video of him showing me how he gets so big, but it's on Gene's phone so I will have to get him to send it to me so I can post it, it's hilarious. Here's a picture though that might show a little bit of his character
Daddy pulled his shirt up like this and he just thought it was so funny. Now he tries to do it all of the time. He is stretching the neck hole out of all his shirts, but its still pretty funny. Here's a picture of part of Dylan's new room
Gene built this shelf and then I got the totes from Target. I love it. It's so much better than just a toy box, because he can find of all his toys and he doesn't climb in and out of the box and get hurt anymore. He was so excited when we cleaned out the other toy box, he found so many "new" toys. He is doing pretty good with the new bed too. He will get up in the middle of the night and come find me sometimes but its not as bad as I thought it would be. I can always hear him coming so I just meet him halfway and take him back to bed. He's been sleeping pretty good though. We've only had a few bad nights so far.
One last picture here is the painted nursery. Still need to get decorations up and everything put away but here it is so far:
And I will have you know that I, not Gene, did that straight line. I was for sure I couldn't do it so it would look nice, but Gene has so many other projects he's trying to get done for me and he's coaching baseball so he hasn't had a lot of time to help me with the nursery and I was getting very anxious to get the paint colors on and see them that I just did it myself. Gene did tell me how to do it so it would be straight, but I was so excited when it turned out so nice. And the brown on the bottom was left over from our bedroom so we saved money there. I'd like to get some stuffed animals and some more flower things to hang to make it more babyish but this probably one of my favorite rooms right now.
Well, I will post a belly pic now. I am almost 37 weeks, and feeling every inch of this baby. She feels big, or maybe its just she's long I don't know, but she is definitley running out of room.
And yes that's Gene's t-shirt and it's getting too small. I am going to make it on what clothes I have left, even if that means wearing belly tops. I will not buy more maternity clothes.
I hope you all enjoy, my next post will probably be with the new baby and considering my past record on how often I get on here she might be 6 months old by then.

Catch up...oops sorry
So Dylan turned 2 in March. Time is going so fast I can't believe it. We had the party here and it went great. He got all kinds of Toy Story things. Probably his favorite were his Buzz rubber boots and his toy Woody doll. He didn't take the boots all night and then he cried when I did. Here are a few pictures from his party.
After everyone left we were sitting and relaxing when we heard Dylan saying "I eat my happy birthday cake" and in my mind I'm thinking what's he talking about I put all of the cake away. So we get up to go see and here's what we find
Yep that is straight icing at 9pm. It was pretty funny though.
Here is Dylan's 2 year picture that aunt Janna did for us:
I absolutely love this picture of him. I'm glad Janna was able to do it because he wouldn't have been fun at a photo studio at all. He is not one to be confined thats for sure. I will post again soon about Easter and how the pregnancy is going, but right now I'm too tired.
