I know....

Ok I know it's been a really, really long time, so here's my excuse: We have been working non-stop on the house every night so when I do have a free night I don't feel like blogging. And then there's my wonderful, very active, 16 month old baby boy who requires lots of attention. And if you don't buy into any of those excuses, then I'm a bad blogger but to help you forgive me the rest of this post will only contain pictures of my wonderful boy. ENJOY!!!

I must say that's some very adorable pictures, with the many faces of Dylan. Ok so we are still working on the house, but we are almost finished. We will be leaving on a much needed vacation this Thursday and won't be back until the next Thursday. I will try my very best to get vacation pictures on here soon after we get home. I hope there are still some people following us, if not I just wasted a 1/2 hour putting up cute pictures.

Happy Birthday Taig!!

My nephew Taig's birthday was today, so in honor of that my mom and I took Easton, Camden, Taig and Dylan to a splash park in Zionsville. It's really neat and all of the kids enjoyed themsevles. Here's some pictures of the park and them playing.

The water park

They all had a lot of fun, and Dylan had so much fun he crashed as soon as I put him in his car seat to go home. This place is really neat, and it's good for little ones. I highly recomend it. I guess there's another splash park in Westfield, we are going to try it out this summer too.

St. Louis trip-warning lots of pictures!!!!

We went to St. Louis this past weekend. We wanted to go to Busch Stadium to see a game so we could mark it off our list of ballparks. For those of you who don't know, Gene has, I mean we have, the goal of going to every ballpark in the country, 4 down 26 to go. So far we've only been to the close ones, Chicago, Cincinati, and St. Louis. So we went to the zoo first on Saturday then over to the game, and I'll have you know Dylan made the whole game, maybe not in our seats but we were in the ballpark the whole game. We went to Grant's farm on Sunday and then to Union Station before leaving on Monday. So I'm going to let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

Almost there.

This one thought Gene's shorts had hay hanging on them.

Then the rain came, uhoh no umbrella. Gene had to wait in line for the trolley

1st Haircut

Well this has been a topic of discussion in our house for a while now. Dylan hasn't ever had a lot of hair, but in the back it was getting long and he had a little tail. Well I wanted to take him to cut it, but when I start to do it someone would say how cute his curl was and then I would change my mind. Well it finally got to the point where it was just annoying, it was getting long around his ears and stuff. So I finally did it, I called and made the appointment. Now I had doubts after making the appointment, and then realized I didn't have anyone to go with me to take picutres. So I called Brittany and was talking to her about it, and she volunteered to come be my photographer. So thank you so much Brittany.

"Mom are you sure about this?"

ok here goes

All done...so handsome!!

He did great! She even used the razor around his ears and neck line and he didn't even flinch. I was so proud of how well he did. And he looked so cute when she was done. His haircut was actually a few weeks ago, yes I'm behind again on blogging. I'm going to blame it on the house construction and the sunny weather. By the way our dining room is now ready for painting. Now just to find time to paint it.
